Slice chicken in half lengthwise.
Pat chicken dry and dredge through flour.
In a medium bowl whisk together lemon juice (2 tbsp), crushed garlic, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
Dip the chicken in the marinade and then place in a bag and pour remaining marinade inside. Allow to rest in the fridge for 30+ minutes.
Add olive oil to a skillet. Add marinated chicken and make sure not to overcrowd the plan.
Sauté the chicken for 5 minutes a side at medium heat with the lid on. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165F
Let chicken rest for 5 minutes covered with aluminum foil.
Melt butter in the pan that was used to cook the chicken. Cook at medium heat until it turns a golden brown, stirring frequently. Take off the heat and add lemon juice (1 tbsp). Stir until combined combined.
Pour sauce over chicken and top with parsley and a lemon slice.
